I always turn down last minute video and photo of events more so for weddings. A wedding is an important part of a couple’s life so it’s a bit tricky not to mess it up for the clients, that’s why I don’t accept a last-minute wedding shoot. My wife talked me into it and we did made through the event without any fuss, besides I love shooting weddings, telling their love story even on a brief moment is magical not just for the couple but for me and for others as well. This is not your typical church wedding or garden wedding, it’s has a more humble set-up than we usually see on videos and films. I’m still happy we’ve done it, and even in a very short notice we manage to pull it off. Hope you like this simple wedding video. If you like what you see, please do follow my work , like, subscribe or comment. Cheers!
A simple video of our second baby Kailin’s journey to this world. It took me a while to edit this due a sudden busy schedule, now that it’s finished, I’m glad to share it with you all. Cheers!
A new take on the Cariño Brutal music video. This video has full of irony and gut twisting imagery through and through. It shows all the bu!!s#!t the Filipinos have to deal with every single day of their lives since the Spanish Era, World War II up to the present. Despite the regular bombardment of tragedy, natural disaster, heinous crimes, racial hatred, colonialism and corrupt politicians, the Filipinos can still wear a smile on their faces. Hope you like it, and if you do kindly share.
Its been a while since we did an actual team edit. Now we are proud to bring you a simple video that captures what Flipbykes is all about – diversity. Riders from different parts of the Philippines unite on a singular goal that is to support the ever-growing BMX scene. It doesn’t matter if your discipline is Flatland or Street or where you came from – Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, we all came from the same root. It’s always not easy being a rider on a Third World Country like ours but we make sure that there are means to overcome the obstacles that hinders us from enjoying our passion. BMX has been here since the late 70s’ and its here to stay even getting stronger every passing day. Continue reading

This film serves as a brief rider profile of BMX flatland rider Renz Viaje from Philippines. This was made prior to the FlatDev 2012 BMX competition held at Melacca Malaysia on 7-9 of July 2012. This is my 2nd take on film making. I was choosing between a Nikon D5100, D7000 and Canon 60D and 650D, I end up buying the Canon 60D. I don’t want to invest to other lenses anymore so I decided to get an adapter for my Nikkor lenses which is another problem because they are all G type lenses. I sold all my Nikkor D lenses when I shifted to a full-frame body (Nikon D700). Since auto-focus is not that precise on DSLR video making I’d rather use an adapter to cater all my Nikkor lenses. I research and research and research again in the web until I end up seeing the “Novoflex” German made lens adapter for Nikkor G lenses to EOS mount. This adapter works in wonders but a bit pricey for a small piece of metal maybe it’s because of German precision (wink) but one thing is for sure it’s worth every penny. I might do a brief review about this adapter on my next post, for now enjoy the short video.

Bear with me on this one ’cause this is my first take on videography although I’ve been doing a lot of video presentations and animations this is the first time I actually edited video footages from an event.
