I was thinking of having a bit of a story on this video. Not the usual montage of suggestive romantic footage or the cutie couple shots we commonly see on “save-the-date” videos or any “prenuptial” sessions. Yes it’s still a cliche but still an interesting concept nonetheless. Continue reading →
KOMYSB2015 is an annual event sponsored by the Royal Family of Alor Setar Kedah Malaysia. This event became popular to nearby countries including Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and also Japan, not because of the generous prizes but because of the camaraderie and for charity. There are sporting events like netball and street soccer, they also include cultural awareness, singing and declamation contest but the most favorite of the crowd were the extreme sporting activities like BMX stunt, BMX flatland, aggressive inline skates and wall climbing. The skate park is definitely the highlight of the event, it is one of the best skate parks in Southeast Asia. The good thing about this event is that all proceed goes to charity that helps unfortunate youths with financial problems and at the same time engaging them to a more progressive way of spending their talents and hobbies. I always turn down last minute video and photo of events more so for weddings. A wedding is an important part of a couple’s life so it’s a bit tricky not to mess it up for the clients, that’s why I don’t accept a last-minute wedding shoot. My wife talked me into it and we did made through the event without any fuss, besides I love shooting weddings, telling their love story even on a brief moment is magical not just for the couple but for me and for others as well. This is not your typical church wedding or garden wedding, it’s has a more humble set-up than we usually see on videos and films. I’m still happy we’ve done it, and even in a very short notice we manage to pull it off. Hope you like this simple wedding video. If you like what you see, please do follow my work , like, subscribe or comment. Cheers!
This is Kae’s 4th birthday and also the last birthday celebration on her former school Kids’ Star. She will definitely miss her classmates and teachers. This video was shot on June 15, 2014 and it’s been long overdue. Still worth sharing to the world, hope you like it.

A new take on the Cariño Brutal music video. This video has full of irony and gut twisting imagery through and through. It shows all the bu!!s#!t the Filipinos have to deal with every single day of their lives since the Spanish Era, World War II up to the present. Despite the regular bombardment of tragedy, natural disaster, heinous crimes, racial hatred, colonialism and corrupt politicians, the Filipinos can still wear a smile on their faces. Hope you like it, and if you do kindly share. Continue reading →
I’ll be smirking when I see Moms and Dads acting like lunatics when their kids are performing on stage. I told myself that I would never be like them Stage Fathers and Mothers pushing their kids to perform. Well I guess this is how it feels like being one. It felt like I’m the one on the spot, anxious and at the same time feeling proud of my daughter performing on stage. I don’t really worry about her having mistakes, that’s where good memories are made – beautiful flaws in life makes the perfect Kodak moment. This post is a bit late but still worth sharing. Hope you enjoy this video. Credits to my wife for doing the B-roll shots. Cheers!
This photography workshop was the 222nd of Manuel “Manny” Librodo. Imagine how many people he had inspired throughout the years. The press releases and testimonials about him proves that he’s not just an awesome photographer but a people person as well. A cool guy if you know him and a true mentor, knowing that he’s a full-time teacher (in an international school in Bangkok) makes his workshop more upbeat and efficient – the reason why people are coming back for more. The experience they get from each and every workshop is very different from one another. For the patrons it’s not just about learning photography but a camaraderie that leads to a good relationship with Manny and the crew. Definitely there will be more workshops to come and I’ve heard that a book will be publish soon, better watch out for that. This workshop was organized by the hard working Team of Walls and Frames in cooperation with MOE.

I had the chance to shoot some photos and videos of my father-in-law’s 58th birthday celebration last January. Actually it was a double celebration of his birthday and their (w/ mother-in-law) wedding anniversary. It was a late celebration ’cause we only can visit them a week later the actual date. It was a good day for all of us my parents and my wife’s (Jenny) parents have a time to bond before my in-laws go back to Italy. One big happy extended family. Hope you like the photos and video, Kae sure did enjoy posing in front of the camera.
Its been a while since we did an actual team edit. Now we are proud to bring you a simple video that captures what Flipbykes is all about – diversity. Riders from different parts of the Philippines unite on a singular goal that is to support the ever-growing BMX scene. It doesn’t matter if your discipline is Flatland or Street or where you came from – Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, we all came from the same root. It’s always not easy being a rider on a Third World Country like ours but we make sure that there are means to overcome the obstacles that hinders us from enjoying our passion. BMX has been here since the late 70s’ and its here to stay even getting stronger every passing day. Continue reading →
