This guys are awesome. They reminded me of Pantera, very Southern… the eagle on the backdrop is a dead give away. The music not quite ‘coz their style is more of Southern Metal rather than Groove Metal like Pantera or Throwdown. The music is more inclined to the likes of Godsmack and Disturbed more formulaic. I also like bands with mascots like Iron Maiden’s “Eddie the Head” and Megadeth’s Vic Rattlehead, if you haven’t notice the skeleton character on their artwork is their legendary mascot named “Knucklehead”. I guess they’s not that popular in this part of the globe but this tour will start to give them a bigger fan base in Southeast Asia. They’ve won the hearts of the audience and they’re expecting more of 5FDP this coming years. Songs like “The Bleeding” and “No One Gets Left Behind” will make the fans go nuts. A more familiar song “Bad Company” tickled the nostalgic nerve of more mature audience. I can’t wait on their next visit in Singapore. Here are the photos form the show. No award-winning shots here but totally enjoyed it none the less. Also check out photos from Rob Zombie and Korn.
